Here you will find all the frequently asked questions about the ski rental and our service. Should a question still not be answered, then we would like to ask you to send us an email to ski@rent2000.at. We will immediately try to answer your ambiguities.

What is a rocker ski?

The design and construction of Rocker Ski makes use of experiences from surfing. Unlike “conventional” skis, the nose and tail of the ski are unbent, giving the rocker ski a bias similar to a bow. You can imagine this effect pictorially very nice: If you put a ski without rocker technology on a flat surface, so only bends the front of the blade up. In a rocker ski, however, the ski bends slightly upwards even before the shovel.

What exactly is a test ski and what costs can I expect?

We offer you the possibility to rent any skis, 7 days a week and to try them directly on the slopes. The cost of this is the rental fee depending on the category.

What do the quality categories marked with stars mean?

A description of our different categories can be found under the menu item “Categories”!

Where can I find the price list?

All prices are displayed per item directly in the online booking. The final total price will be listed as an overview for confirmation.

How much do I save when booking online compared to booking directly on site?

You save up to 20% on the local rental price and your equipment will be reserved and provided to you on the date requested.

Can I make bookings for groups?

Group bookings are made in the same form as individual bookings. Please repeat the process in the online booking until all members have been added.

Can I book by phone?

No. The booking is only possible via our homepage www.rent2000.at or directly on site in one of our 4 x Sport2000rent branches.

How can I change or cancel my booking?

During the booking process you can easily change the booking by jumping between the individual booking steps. If you have already completed the booking, please contact our rental office directly at: ski@rent2000.at or call +43 5288 6767 560. Please indicate the booking number and your name.

Where can I find the contact details and opening hours?

Our locations and opening hours can be found on every page of our homepage, below in the red foot area along with the links to the respective ski areas.

Should I take my online booking confirmation with you when picking it up?

Yes! Please bring your online booking confirmation and payment confirmation to the store. Your equipment will already be waiting for you.

Which payment options are offered?

You can pay in cash or EC Maestro or by credit card. Payment via our online system with credit card via an encrypted SSL connection.

Are there additional costs to pay?

No! There are no additional processing or processing fees.

Is there insurance and what does it cost?

Rental products are insured against breakage and theft in our service & protection package, without additional costs!
The following cases are NOT insured.

Theft of ski or snowboard, which were forgotten at apres ski
Damage incurred outside the secured Pists
Willful damage, as with the skis on the asphalt road drive
In case of theft, a theft notification must be reported to the police.

What is included in a rental kit?

Our set consists of: skis, boots and poles or snowboard with bindings and shoes.
